Carribean Development Parley

Public consultation aimed to guiding local government development will be held in Belize.

The event will be in two public consultation for the country and the wider Caribbean. September 17 will be the first consultation date and the second will be two days after.

This parley by Caribbean Forum of Local Government Ministers along with other government sectors aims to gather inputs towards the development of a regional policy, cooperation framework and democracy.

Belize's Economic Situation

Belize's Economy kicks back as it grew 7.3 percent in the second quarter this year after the collapse of largest shrimp farm in the country. The wholesale retail trade and manufacturing sector grew almost 10 percent each which is responsible for the economic growth of the country.Decreased tourist visitor also affected the hotel and restaurant sector to two consecutive quarters. Permit and bonefish protected in Belize

Belize is applauded for approving a new legislation mandating catch and release for tarpon, permit and bonefish. Outpost there favors conservation efforts and at the same time want to work it out with recreational activities.

This place is known to central Americans and sports fishing enthusiast around the world.

These three species may not be possessed by anyone for any purpose save and except in the act of catch and release.
