According to the Belize News there is oil in Belize but at this time no one knows, or no one is talking about how much oil is there. This is causing dissention because they know how much oil is needed by the United States and how third world countries have benefited from having oil to sell. At this time they are putting down pipelines but it seems no one is talking about the amount to be had.

Turquoise Water

By Sandy at 01/21/07 21:15
In San Pedro, Belize the water is turquoise in color and so clear blades of sea grass and lobster traps can be seen as far as 20 feet (6 meters) down. In the waters off the beach you can see Parrot fish, Angel fish, bull sharks, Spanish mackerel, yellowtail snapper, Needle-nose ballyhoo fish leaping from the water and even barracuda. If you enjoy fishing this is the place to go.
