The party called Vision is has announced it's electoral plans and VIP ending up third in the last election is exploring the possibility of merging with We the People Movement even though no independent candidate has ever has electoral success in a national election.

Oil and Water Don't Mix

A malfunctioning oil well, Michael Usher number two, spread a fine mist of oil on the water downwind form the site which included the reservoir which is used by the community's chicken processing plant. It is now reported that this water is no longer contaminated.

Mayan Artefacts stolen

Erick and Esquin Archila were arrested and charged with illegal possession when they could not product a licence for the Mayan artificts. The pieces have been returned to Department of Archaeology.

Dangriga man arrested for Arson

Luis Lambert and his broth Fitzgerald have been having a longstanding dispute which has ended in Lambert burning down a house belonging to his family. Luis was shot during the arrest and is also charged with Aggrevated Assault.

Belize Telecommunications Limited has been served 21 day notice of industrial action by Belize Communications Workers. And are planning on total work to rule after the firing of 3 workers.

Seventy-nine year old Oswald Young who was called "Daddy" was travelling as a passenger when the vehicle collided into a pickup truck travelling in the opposite direction and died on the spot from severe head injuries

Possible Union Strike

Three B.T.L. employees, Andy Sutherland, Nelson Young and Enrique Monima all union liaison officers, were dissmissed without explanation in violation of the B.C.W.U.'s agreement with the company.

Police Need Help

A body was found around 6:30 this morning in Ladyville from what appeard to be a gunshot to the lower left back. The body was found wearing a light coloured shirt, short sleeved, black jeans and white tennis shoes. Police have no clues as to who it may be and seek help in identifying the body.

Bloody Corpse of Reporter found in bed

Richard Hulse, although never seen on TV, but always was on time with his stories about crime written up after visiting Magistrate's Court and the Supreme Court was found bludgeoned to death in his blood splattered one room wooden house.

Fake ID Lands Taliban collaborator in prison

James Ujaama convicted of aiding the Taliban was found guilty and sent to prison vor violating parole by travelling with fake Mexican Passport. He has been sentenced to two years in a fedeal prison.
