In a massive blaze of fire there was close to a million dollars worth in property that went up, over in Caye Caulker Village in the morning of Tuesday, past.

No glory was there in the blaze near the island’s popular "split." Instead there were four buildings that had been quickly destroyed, including a private residence, as well as two hotels, and it even damaged two other homes in the process.

Out of their slumber, the tourists and residents were startled, when it was that the fire had sent ripples throughout the community.
