Thieves Pick Wrong Car

Michael Sanchez was hard at work when he was informed two men were breaking into his car in the parking lot. They stole a computer from inside his car and took off. However, they didn't get far because Sanchez raced out and jumped in front of their car to stop them.

Chain Thief being Sought

Belize City police need the publics help in locating a thief that has been targeting young women. He has attacked two young women and stolen chains from around their necks and in one instance also took a cell phone.

Nine People Detained One Person Charged

On a raid this morning nine people were detained after they found nine live rounds of point thirty-eight calibre ammunitio were discovered in one of the rooms. Five of those detained were children.

All Saints Saddened

In the past breaking into a school in Belize was totally unheard of but now it seems that the crime wave here has no respect for anything anymore. When the staff and students arrived at school on Monday they were saddened to see five of their classrooms had been burglarized.

Breakin very Upsetting

Students are becoming very upset when they arrive at school in the morning only to discover their classrooms in total disarray. On Monday five of the classrooms were burglarized taking water bottles, books and DVD players. Needless to say the children are very very upset to find they now have no water to drink.

Mayan Artefacts stolen

Erick and Esquin Archila were arrested and charged with illegal possession when they could not product a licence for the Mayan artificts. The pieces have been returned to Department of Archaeology.

Dangriga man arrested for Arson

Luis Lambert and his broth Fitzgerald have been having a longstanding dispute which has ended in Lambert burning down a house belonging to his family. Luis was shot during the arrest and is also charged with Aggrevated Assault.

Police Need Help

A body was found around 6:30 this morning in Ladyville from what appeard to be a gunshot to the lower left back. The body was found wearing a light coloured shirt, short sleeved, black jeans and white tennis shoes. Police have no clues as to who it may be and seek help in identifying the body.

Bloody Corpse of Reporter found in bed

Richard Hulse, although never seen on TV, but always was on time with his stories about crime written up after visiting Magistrate's Court and the Supreme Court was found bludgeoned to death in his blood splattered one room wooden house.

Fake ID Lands Taliban collaborator in prison

James Ujaama convicted of aiding the Taliban was found guilty and sent to prison vor violating parole by travelling with fake Mexican Passport. He has been sentenced to two years in a fedeal prison.
