The governments of Belize and Mexico are announced to be continuing their talks about the 1898 boundary treaty, which is said to have some errors resulting to mismatch between the defined coordinates and the on-the-ground facts.
The problem was technological in nature, given the inaccuracy of map creation a hundred years ago. Based on the document, Mexico gets more land than what is written on the maps.
